NSA releases PIN codes for 121,754 prospective national service personnel

The National Service Authority (NSA) has unveiled PIN codes for 121,754 prospective national service personnel for the 2026/2027 service year, signaling the start of the online registration process. This announcement came on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, following a rigorous validation and verification process conducted in collaboration with relevant regulatory institutions.

The NSA disclosed that 122,712 out of 144,023 submissions from accredited tertiary institutions were approved, while 121,754 unique persons received PIN codes. However, 958 approved submissions were pending further verification, and 21,311 submissions were rejected for additional identity verification. The registration period opened on August 12 and will conclude on August 26, 2026.

Prospective personnel must activate their PIN codes, pay a registration fee via Mobile Money, and undergo facial biometric verification against their Ghana Card records, before being able to access the enrolment platform. The NSA also invited applicants to indicate their interest in the Basic Military Training initiative and the NSA Agriculture Deployment Programme, with successful applicants for the latter to be deployed to agricultural project sites.
