NPP requires bold, fearless, and experienced leadership for election 2028- Nana B

Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called for bold, fearless, and experienced leadership to bolster the party's prospects in the upcoming 2028 elections. In an interview in Sunyani, Boakye, known as "Nana B", reiterated the NPP's determination to overcome intimidation from the incumbent government led by President John Dramani Mahama's National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Boakye, who is vying for the First National Chairmanship slot, emphasized that the NPP is ready to “go into the Election 2028 and regain political power.” He stated that the NPP, like an elephant family, possesses the necessary qualities of boldness and fearlessness. Boakye, who is actively campaigning in the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions, expressed disappointment in the NDC's governance, describing it as having turned democracy "upside down" and intimidating the NPP.

He attributed the NPP's loss in the 2024 election to voter apathy and argued that his 26 years of experience in grassroots politics and national service, including serving as a polling agent in 2000 and as a former youth organiser, make him well-suited to lead the party. Boakye urged NPP delegates to make informed decisions when voting in October, asserting that supporting him would guarantee the NPP's victory in the 2028 elections.
