"GCB Bank wishes to clarify that no robbery or attempted robbery took place at our Labone Branch or on the Bank’s premises," the statement emphasized.

The clarification comes after reports surfaced of an alleged robbery in the Labone area, which inadvertently linked the GCB branch in the vicinity. According to GCB Bank, the branch was not compromised, and neither customers, staff members, funds, nor bank property were impacted. The bank reassured customers that the Labone branch remains fully operational and urged them to continue their banking activities without apprehension.
