After stemming the flow of Nigerians going abroad for healthcare, EIH is poised to attract patients from outside Nigeria, including Europe and America, due to the cheaper and equal-quality medical care provided.
Prof. Agwu highlighted that EIH will have specialized sections for cancer care, cardiology, nephrology, and orthopaedic surgery. The hospital will also offer a cardiothoracic surgical team led by a UK-based surgeon, nuclear medicine capabilities with a PET scan, and neuroscience medicine. An array of advanced medical equipment, including CT scans, MRIs, and mammography machines, is already installed at the hospital.
Once inaugurated, EIH will provide the best medical care to its patients with dignity and compassion.
