Mahama to provide Paga school with new bus, challenges students to achieve 100% WASSCE results

President John Dramani Mahama has announced plans to provide a state-of-the-art 60-seater bus to a school in Paga, Upper East Region. The bus will be a significant addition to the school's facilities, aiming to enhance the teaching and learning environment for the students. Mahama, while addressing the school during his visit on Thursday, August 13, emphasized that this gesture is part of the government's commitment to improving educational infrastructure and fostering a conducive atmosphere for academic success.

He urged the school authorities to focus on making the institution a beacon of excellence, asserting that the school's accomplishments would be measured by the achievements of its students. Mahama challenged the students and staff to aim for a 100% pass rate in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), stating, "I want to see that the children here pass 100%."

The bus is set to be delivered even before the construction of the planned dormitory blocks, underscoring the government's dedication to advancing educational opportunities. Mahama expressed confidence that with the new bus and improved facilities, the school would be well-positioned to deliver quality education, thereby achieving outstanding academic results.
