Mahama promises new 60-seater bus for Paga school

President John Dramani Mahama has pledged to provide a state-of-the-art 60-seater bus to a school in Paga, located in the Upper East Region of Ghana. The announcement was made on August 13, 2026, during Mahama's outreach to residents as part of his nationwide engagements with citizens. The new bus will significantly enhance the school's transportation capabilities, allowing for better logistics and a more conducive learning environment for students.

The President emphasized that the bus would be delivered before the completion of the planned dormitory facilities, underscoring the importance of infrastructure and logistics in supporting educational institutions. Challenging the school to attain a 100 percent pass rate in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), Mahama encouraged the authorities to maximize the benefits of the facilities and logistics provided by the government.
