Lahore Railway Station to Get Improved Passenger Facilities

Pakistan Railways' Chief Executive Officer, M. Hafeez Ullah Khan, recently inspected Lahore Railway Station to evaluate and improve passenger facilities. During his visit, Khan examined the Lahore Reservation Office, VIP lounges, family lounges, family halls, and waiting areas on platforms 2 and 4. He emphasized the need for a more comfortable and efficient environment for passengers and directed officials to enhance drinking water availability.

Khan engaged with passengers at the station, listening to their grievances and suggestions, and directed railway officials to address these concerns and enhance the overall travel experience. He subsequently inspected the parcel office and warehouse, reviewing the processes for receiving and dispatching goods, and issued instructions to relevant officials.

Previously, Khan and Lahore Divisional Superintendent Railways Inam Ullah had agreed to extend two platforms to facilitate passengers and boost railway operations. Khan reiterated that Pakistan Railways is committed to providing safe, comfortable, and high-quality travel facilities for passengers.
