Kapil Sharma brings IAF officers and Operation Safed Sagar cast together on I-Day. Watch

On India's 80th Independence Day, Kapil Sharma will premiere a special episode of his Netflix series The Great Indian Kapil Show. The show will feature the cast of Operation Safed Sagar, a web series set during the Kargil War in 1999, along with Air Force personnel and their families. Netflix India released a trailer for the upcoming episode on Thursday, showcasing the star-studded cast and crew.

The trailer opens with Kapil singing a patriotic song by Mohammed Aziz, "Ae Watan Tere Liye." He then engages with the audience, quizzing them about their fear of their wives, eliciting laughter from the crowd. As the laughter continues, he introduces his guest, Sunil Grover, who takes over the stage in his Diamond Raja persona, bringing his signature humor and chaos.

Kiku Sharda also joins the cast, ensuring the audience remains entertained and laughing. The promo concludes with everyone dancing together, followed by Kapil paying a touching tribute to the IAF officers. Operation Safed Sagar, a six-episode war drama, is directed by Oni Sen and revolves around the historic high-altitude combat operations of the Indian Air Force during the Kargil War in 1999. The series also stars Manu Rishi Chadha and Vinay Pathak in lead roles.
