Just in: Romano reveals INEOS made U-turn on 13 G/A Man Utd star after pre-season displays

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Juventus has made a U-turn on their interest in Manchester United star Joshua Zirkzee after the player's impressive pre-season displays. The 25-year-old Dutch attacker has been on United's books since his £36.5 million move from Bologna in 2024, but has been struggling to secure a starting position.

Zirkzee has attracted interest from Serie A side Juventus, who have been monitoring the versatile player since his time at Bologna. However, United are not willing to loan Zirkzee to Juventus without an obligation to buy, a key condition that the club is unwilling to waive. Despite this, Manchester United manager Michael Carrick and the club's management are reportedly "very happy" with Zirkzee, who has been a positive influence at Old Trafford this summer.
