Islamabad Independence Day Event Details Announced

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICT Administration) are set to host a grand Independence Day celebration at the Old Parade Ground on August 14. The festivities will commence at 5 p.m. and are open to the public without any entry fee. Families and friends are encouraged to attend the event, which will showcase a diverse array of entertainment and cultural activities.

Prominent names in Pakistan's music industry will entertain the attendees with live performances by Nimra Mehra, Sahir Ali Bagga, and Khumariyan Band. The event lineup will also feature displays of Islamabad Police squads' skills, a captivating dance routine by the Jhang Dance Group, mesmerizing drummers on dhol, lively pipe and percussion bands, and an unforgettable camel band performance.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore various attractions, such as charming children mascots, Rafi Peer mascots, a fleet of vintage cars, and an impressive squad of vintage bikes. These attractions aim to provide a memorable experience for all age groups.
