Father of slain IDF observer says October 7 terrorists were heard speaking Farsi- report

Eyal Eshel, the father of IDF observer Roni Eshel who was killed during the October 7 attack, has revealed that some of the attackers spoke Farsi. The information comes from witness testimony, according to Eshel, who spoke to Israel's KAN News. He emphasized that knowledge about the events of October 7 has significantly improved since the incident.

Eshel stated, "Every day we are learning new things about it." He added that based on this claim, Iran had also gathered intelligence on Israeli towns near the Gaza border before the attack. Eshel explained that this insight was obtained through privately gathered witness interviews, not the IDF. He expressed his commitment to improving the country, citing his father's mission to his daughter Roni, who tasked him with making Israel better.
