EPL: Maresca to sign two Chelsea players for Man City

Manchester City has decided not to meet Chelsea's offer for Pedro Neto, a winger who has caught the interest of multiple clubs. Both Manchester City and Arsenal are competing for the Portugal international. The interest from Manchester City, according to reports, stems from their manager Enzo Maresca, who previously managed Neto during his time at Chelsea.

Maresca is interested in Neto to potentially replace Savinho, who is set to leave Chelsea for Tottenham Hotspur. Chelsea, however, is determined to keep Neto but acknowledges there is a "significant gap" between Manchester City's proposal and their valuation. Chelsea is not eager to sell as they believe Neto could be a key player under their new manager, Xabi Alonso.

There is no indication that Chelsea plans to reduce their demands, suggesting a transfer to the Etihad Stadium for Neto is improbable at this time. Manchester City's interest may create an opening for Arsenal, who are actively seeking a left winger. Neto was purchased by Chelsea for a combined fee of £54 million, and his market value is currently estimated at €60 million.
