Nscale, a Norwegian data center company, is making waves in the industry with its significant investments in the country. According to Stian Jenssen, Scandinavia's head at Nscale, this represents one of the largest investment booms in history. Jenssen spoke to E24 about Nscale's plans to build "cornerstone enterprises" in Norway and highlighted the country's potential to take a leading position in AI and renewable energy sectors.

The company is focusing on building large data centers in Narvik, with an investment of around 100 billion kroner, the biggest single investment in Norway's history. Nscale aims to create a holistic service from power generation to data centers, data processing, and software. The company is also looking to recruit infrastructure operations managers and other staff, with job postings advertising "snarest" (immediately).

Jenssen emphasized that Nscale is optimistic about the increasing demand for data power and the potential for the country to become a significant exporter of digital services. He also expressed appreciation for government initiatives aimed at accelerating energy production and noted that Nscale is prepared to contribute to meeting the growing power needs in Norway.
