Dodgers Reliever Brutally Trolled After Late-Inning Error

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Landon Knack faced ridicule from an unexpected quarter after a late-inning error during Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. The 29-year-old Knack entered the game following a strong 6.1 innings pitched by starter Eric Lauer. He saved the game by retiring the side in order in the ninth inning, marking his first save of the season.

However, his fiancée Anisa Herlinda Garcia shared a video on Instagram showing her tossing a stuffed toy towards Knack in jest, captioning the post "he can catch!! 1ST SAVE OF THE YEAR". Knack, who has played for the Dodgers in parts of three seasons, has made 15 appearances over that time, with 12 of those as starting pitchers.

In 2025, he posted a 4.89 ERA over 42.1 innings, while his role diminished to primarily bullpen work in 2026, with three appearances and a 5.87 ERA allowing five earned runs. Knack hopes this scoreless inning will help him gain more opportunities as the team aims for a three-peat.
