The 25-day Monsoon Session of Parliament concluded on Thursday, marked by adjournments, protests, and disputes due to tensions between the ruling BJP-led NDA and the Opposition INDIA bloc. Both houses of Parliament were adjourned sine die following the national song recitation. Opposition members staged protests, both inside and outside Parliament, over police actions against student protesters at Jantar Mantar on the session's opening day and allegations of donations theft at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Several Bills were passed without debate. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi attended the final day of the session, the first time both Modi and Shah were present together. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju criticized the Congress for disrupting parliamentary proceedings, alleging that it was the first time the Opposition had avoided discussions when the government sought them.

He praised the passage of 12 Bills but lamented low time-allocation and productivity. The Congress countered that this was the first time the government had avoided discussions, and they scored five "big achievements," including postponing the "One Nation, One Election" proposal and blocking the PM/Chief Minister removal amendment Bill due to opposition pressure.
