Citizen’s Account program explains reasons for reduced support

Saudi Arabia's Citizen's Account program has provided an explanation for potential reductions in support payments, attributing the decrease to various factors. In an official announcement on its X account, the program outlined several reasons for the reduction, including increased family income, beneficiaries or dependents spending more than 90 days outside the Kingdom, or ineligible dependents.

To help clarify these reasons, the Citizen's Account program instructed beneficiaries to log into their accounts and review the "Financial Payments" section for specific details on the reduction. Additionally, the program encouraged users to utilize the available calculator on their online portal to estimate their entitlements and check their eligibility status.

For beneficiaries experiencing fluctuating or unstable income, the program provided specific guidance. In such cases, the beneficiary should input their average monthly income over the past 12 months when submitting their information. The program stressed the importance of disclosing any additional income that may affect their eligibility. If a beneficiary meets all eligibility requirements, they will be included in the support program, as stated by the Citizen's Account program.

The program further emphasized the importance of accuracy and transparency in providing information, asserting that once eligibility is confirmed, beneficiaries will continue to receive support.
