BREAKING: Osun Guber: Accord endorses Oyebamiji, withdraws support for Gov Adeleke

The National Chairman of the Accord, Professor Christopher Imumolen, has announced that the party will no longer support Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, in the upcoming governorship election. This decision was made during a meeting of the party's National Working Committee on Thursday. The Accord's support will now be directed towards the APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, also known as AMBO.

Imumolen urged all Accord members and supporters in Osun State to vote for Oyebamiji and the APC. This endorsement came only a day after the Accord suspended a scheduled mega rally due to an internal crisis within the party. Meanwhile, Senator Hope Uzodinma, Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, expressed confidence in the APC's victory and appealed to Osun residents to back Oyebamiji, emphasizing the importance of prosperity and good governance.

Oyebamiji promised a people-centric administration if elected, vowing to uphold strict governance and focus on the welfare of the residents. The APC leader in Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, also endorsed Oyebamiji, highlighting his proven record and praising his potential to serve the people of Osun effectively.
