Arab League condemns Israeli escalation in Palestine, Lebanon

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Fahmy, has strongly condemned the recent Israeli escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories and southern Lebanon. In a statement, Fahmy warned that the continuation of such actions could result in the conflict spreading and endangering regional security. The Arab League Secretary-General emphasized that Israeli raids, arrests, home demolitions, and settler violence in the West Bank and Jerusalem, as well as repeated incursions into Al Aqsa Mosque, are intended to establish a new reality and prevent the creation of an independent Palestinian state.

Fahmy held the Israeli government accountable for these attacks. Additionally, he denounced the attacks on southern Lebanon and the targeting of civilian structures and facilities. Fahmy urged the international community, including the United Nations Security Council, to immediately intervene and put an end to Israel's unlawful practices in the occupied territories and its neighboring countries.
