Ante Budimir is a Croatian professional footballer known for his striking abilities in La Liga with Osasuna and the national team. Born on 22 July 1991 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he grew up in Velika Gorica, Croatia after fleeing the war as an infant. His older sisters are Irena Budimir and Renata Budimir, who are one year older and also born in 1991.

Raised primarily by their mother Janja after their father's death in a car accident, the sisters formed a close bond during their formative years. Budimir's football journey started at Radnik Velika Gorica, progressing through Croatian clubs such as HNK Gorica, Inter Zaprešić, and Lokomotiva Zagreb. After moving to Germany with FC St. Pauli and finding success on loan at Crotone in Italy, he solidified his reputation with a move to Mallorca, where he helped the team achieve promotion to La Liga.

In his first season with Mallorca, he was a key contributor to their promotion, scoring 13 goals in the 2019-20 league. After a stint back at Crotone, Budimir joined Osasuna on loan in 2020 and made the move permanent the following year.
