Amazon Quick for Microsoft 365: Agentic AI where you work

Amazon Quick is now available directly inside Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. These extensions bring connected data access and agentic document editing into the Microsoft 365 apps your teams already use, so you can analyze data, draft content, and reach enterprise knowledge without switching applications.

Amazon Quick, an agentic AI assistant, is now available directly inside Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This bridge between enterprise data and everyday work tools combines connected data access and document editing without requiring a new application or changing existing workflows. General availability allows customers to install the four extensions across desktop and web versions of Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. No additional licensing is needed for Plus, Professional, or Enterprise plans.

For organizations using AWS infrastructure, Amazon Quick Sight dashboards, Salesforce pipelines, Jira projects, Slack conversations, and SharePoint repositories, the integration connects these data sources to daily productivity tools. The AI assistant can draft customer request for proposal responses in hours, pull from internal knowledge bases, past proposals, and live customer data, and create customized presentations in an hour instead of days.

The agentic assistant lives inside Microsoft Word as a persistent side panel and provides visual comparisons of changes made. It tracks every change in a document, creating an audit trail with selectable references back to the affected content. The conversation preserves history across sessions when used in Outlook. The extension runs entirely in the cloud, requiring no client-side installation and deploying automatically to all users through the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Authentication uses Quick native authentication without needing an Entra app, resulting in fewer moving parts, faster setup, and fewer dependencies for IT teams.

The extensions support seven Amazon Quick AWS Regions, and data stays within the selected region. An active Quick application is required for the extensions to function.
