Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem brings hope to four women with GH₵4,000 support in special edition

Adom FM's morning show, Dwaso Nsem, dedicated a special edition on Thursday, August 13, 2026, to celebrate and support women traders and entrepreneurs. At the forecourt of the Multimedia Group premises in Kokomlemle, 17 women shared their personal and business journeys, showcasing the challenges they faced and their dreams for the future.

The women spoke about financial constraints, rising business costs, and the balancing act of work and family life. Despite the odds, their resilience and determination shone through as they recounted their personal struggles, sacrifices, and hopes for expanding their businesses and achieving greater financial independence. After a panel of businessmen assessed their stories and businesses, four women - Mercy Duku, Regina Kyeremanteng, Margaret Asiedu, and Olivia Opare - received a financial boost of GH₵1,000 each to help them grow their respective businesses.

This initiative not only provided much-needed support but also gave the women a platform to inspire others and have their hard work recognized. For the 17 women who participated, the special edition was a celebration of their strength and determination, highlighting that behind many small businesses are women who tirelessly work to support their families and chase their dreams for a brighter future.
