‘Aditya Dhar was confident no abuses would be beeped in Dhurandhar,’ says Suvinder Vicky

In the film Dhurandhar: The Revenge, actor Suvinder Vicky played the father of Arjun Rampal's character. Despite his limited screen time, his character was noted for a series of abusive exchanges directed at his son. During a recent interview, Suvinder spoke about his role and the confidence director Aditya Dhar had in not having any profanity beeped out by the censors.

Reflecting on the role, Suvinder praised Dhar's direction and credited the screenwriter for the abusive language in the script. He even jokingly suggested that his character might have been mute if most of his lines were to be censored. However, Dhar assured Suvinder that nothing would be cut from the film. The final cut of the movie does include a moment where Suvinder's character uses a derogatory term, but the two actors had previously collaborated in Satluj and had a established rapport.
