‘30만원’ 암표 그만!…놀런 감독 “오디세이, 아이맥스 아니어도 됩니다”

In a recent episode of the television program 'Quiz on the Block', Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan revealed that viewing his film 'Odeyese' in a standard theater is just as enjoyable as experiencing it in an IMAX auditorium. Nolan, who held the record for the first time making 'Odeyese' entirely in IMAX, explained that the film's 640km of IMAX footage cost around $42 million (320 million USD), excluding the cost of film and transportation.

Despite the need to replace film rolls every 2 minutes and 30 seconds and the loud noise of IMAX cameras, Nolan said that the uncomfortable experience was worth it to "draw the audience into the movie." However, he emphasized that it is not necessary to watch 'Odeyese' exclusively in IMAX.
