2022 Jharkhand paper leak: Accused director’s Delhi office ‘mostly shut’, rent unpaid for a year

Arun Kumar, the accused director of Delhi-based technology firm Bynsis Technology Private Limited, is accused of being involved in the 2022 Jharkhand paper leak scandal. He was arrested in Mumbai on August 10, 2023, in connection with the alleged leak of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Junior Engineer (Diploma) examination. According to the Jharkhand Police, Arun was the operator and director of the examination agency.

In South Delhi’s Munirka, Arun had rented an office on the first floor in 2021 for Rs 30,000 per month. However, the property owner claims that Arun stopped paying rent a year ago, without any explanation. The property owner, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Indian Express that she did not know why Arun ceased paying the rent.

The first-floor office is currently locked, and only three or four people were seen occasionally working there. The owner stated that Arun claimed to reside in Dwarka. A police officer had visited the property in search of Arun a few days ago, but he reportedly informed the officer that Arun had not been visiting the office for several months.
