16-Year-Old Girl Kills Self After Failing In Supplementary Exam In Bhopal

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: A 16-year-old student named Nikita Divare tragically took her own life by hanging herself at her residence in the Shahpura area on Wednesday night, according to police reports on Thursday. The girl's family lived in a tin-shed house in the Paras Majestic City residential colony, where her father works as a watchman.

Police sources reveal that Nikita had recently received her supplementary results for her board examinations and subsequently appeared for the supplementary examination. Reports suggest that she became deeply saddened and distressed upon failing the examination once again. Santosh Markam, the police station incharge, confirmed that Nikita was found hanging at her house on Wednesday evening.

Her distraught family members quickly lowered her from the noose and rushed her to a private hospital, but it was too late; doctors later declared her dead.

A suicide note was reportedly discovered near the deceased, indicating her distress over her examination result. The police have begun an investigation, examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and verifying the contents of the alleged suicide note.
