US deports three million foreigners in 15 months – White House

The United States has deported over three million foreigners in just 15 months since President Donald Trump took office, according to a White House fact sheet. The administration claims it has achieved this by addressing what it describes as the "record-shattering illegal immigration" into the country. President Trump signed an executive order declaring a crisis at the southern border and taking immediate action upon returning to office.

The White House asserts that no illegal aliens have been released into the country over the past 15 months. Additionally, the administration has deported thousands of individuals convicted of violent crimes. It has also launched a "denaturalization surge" targeting individuals who fraudulently obtained U.S. citizenship, filing claims against 88 such individuals who were allegedly ineligible.

The White House has terminated taxpayer-funded benefits for over 1.4 million undocumented migrants improperly receiving public assistance and banned them from more than a dozen healthcare programs. Visa restrictions have been strengthened, with screenings enhanced and processing paused for 75 high-risk countries. Undocumented migrants have been removed from voter rolls in multiple states, preventing them from voting in U.S. elections.

The administration has also reformed the citizenship test to better assess applicants' understanding of American history, government, and values. Two new executive orders signed on August 6, 2026, aim to end birth tourism and clarify categories of children not entitled to birthright citizenship following the Supreme Court's ruling in Trump v. Barbara.
