The covert maneuver, where Trump was transferred from Air Force One to a military aircraft via a Turkish airport catering truck, was first reported by The Washington Post on Monday. Video footage showed the catering truck pulling away from the presidential jet, with journalists and some White House personnel unaware of Trump no longer being on board.

The operation has raised concerns about the safety of those left on the decoy plane, which Trump believed might have been at higher risk.
