Sony’s Wolverine PS5 has literal claw marks ripped through its shell

Sony's Marvel's Wolverine limited-edition PS5 collection is making waves with its unique design choice. Headlined by a Battle Yellow PS5 Digital Edition console, the collection features exterior shell-covered in prominent claw marks that seem to tear through its outer layer. The DualSense controller also mirrors this design, adorned with scratches and slashes reminiscent of Wolverine's claws.

This exclusive bundle, priced at $649.99, includes the special-edition console, matching DualSense controller, and a digital copy of Marvel's Wolverine. Sony reveals that the design is inspired by Wolverine's Battle Reborn suit from Insomniac Games' Marvel's Wolverine. Existing PS5 owners can also enjoy the look by purchasing Battle Yellow covers for their consoles, available for $74.99.

Sony also offers an Adamantium Limited Edition, featuring a metallic design inspired by Wolverine's fictional skeleton and claws, with a metallic DualSense controller for $84.99. The Adamantium PS5 Pro covers, priced at $74.99, are exclusively for the PS5 Pro model. Despite limited quantities, these Wolverine-themed consoles and controllers will be available for preorders starting August 19 at 7 am PT / 10 am ET on PlayStation Direct and select retailers.
