Some Nollywood stars refused to support Temitope Osoba’s burial — Actress

Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya has accused some colleagues of refusing to help fund the burial of late actress Temitope Osoba. Adesanya, who is the National Director of Social and Welfare at TAMPAN (Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria), made the allegation during a candlelight procession for Osoba in Ikeja, Lagos.

TAMPAN's President, Bolaji Amusan, represented at the event, Adesanya spoke out against the alleged "deception and 'eye service' among colleagues," alleging that some rejected Osoba's membership in TAMPAN as a reason to deny financial support for her burial. She noted that Osoba had been a member of a TAMPAN chapter in Eti-Osa, but this did not stop some from questioning her membership and declining to contribute.

Adesanya emphasized the need for support among industry colleagues and condemned the practice of waiting until someone dies before offering condolences or assistance.
