Six Pakistani firms to participate in Paris textile fair

LAHORE: Six Pakistani enterprises have secured spots to showcase their offerings at Texworld & Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026, a prominent trade fair in the textile and apparel industry, taking place from August 31 to September 1 at Paris Le Bourget. According to an organizer's spokesperson, this 59th edition of the biannual event anticipates the presence of approximately 1,300 manufacturers from around 35 countries, offering a comprehensive platform for buyers to source fabrics, apparel, accessories, and innovative textile solutions.

The spokesperson highlighted the exhibition's international allure, with Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, India, Turkey, Myanmar, South Korea, Japan, and Italy among the leading markets represented, alongside manufacturers and suppliers from other key production hubs across the globe. Regarding Pakistan's representation, the spokesperson disclosed that the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) would support five Pakistani firms, namely Asad Enterprises, Fashion Channel, Garment Resources, Ruqi Sports, and ZK International, under a dedicated pavilion within the Apparel Sourcing section.

Additionally, a sixth Pakistani company, AK Traders, will independently participate in the Texworld section. The fair presents a valuable opportunity for Pakistani exhibitors to exhibit their products, interact with global buyers, and explore potential business prospects. The organizers emphasized that Pakistan's participation underscores the country's ongoing commitment to promoting quality, innovation, and sustainable production practices while fortifying its international trade relations within the textile and apparel sector.
