Six girl students of Adavimallela Gurukul bitten by rats, treated at PHC in Khammam district

Six female students at Adavimallela Gurukul, a Telangana Social Welfare Residential School and College for Girls located in Adavimallela village, were bitten by rodents while asleep in their hostel on Monday night. The students were subsequently treated at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Lankasagar on Tuesday. The incident took place near an agricultural field, as reported by sources.

Following the incident, parents expressed urgent demands for rat control measures and improved sanitation at the hostel. Officials visited the gurukul on Wednesday to assess the situation and discuss potential solutions. These measures included plans to enhance sanitation and control the rat population in the area.
