Sandra Bullock’s ‘Practical Magic 2’ Producer Perk? Picking Lee Pace’s Tattoos: ‘He’s Got a Beautiful Physique’

Sandra Bullock had an interesting perk as a producer for "Practical Magic 2," besides starring in the film. She got to choose and place fake tattoos on co-star Lee Pace's "beautiful physique." According to Bullock, she was tasked with finding these tattoos along with the head of the makeup department for a month before shooting began.

Nicole Kidman, who co-stars as Bullock's on-screen sister Gillian, expressed envy over this unique opportunity. Lee Pace, meanwhile, recounted his first day on set as he lay naked, covered in tattoos, hearing Bullock and Kidman discussing his body. Pace noted his physical attributes were being "complimented," adding that the cast was truly in the midst of making "Practical Magic 2."

The film, based on Alice Hoffman's 2021 sequel novel, features the stars as a love interest who shares a connection with witchy tattoos and a third eye. The cast also discussed revisiting the original 1998 film, with Bullock emphasizing the emotional depth of Hoffman's work and the urgency of conveying its messages now. "Practical Magic 2" releases on September 11.
