Riyadh to host global leaders for UNESCO AI Ethics Forum 2026

Riyadh is set to host the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence 2026 from September 14 to 17. The event, organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in collaboration with UNESCO, the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), will gather global leaders to discuss critical AI ethics and governance issues.

This year's forum aims to enhance worldwide dialogue on responsible AI governance, facilitate the sharing of expertise and best practices, and explore methods to leverage AI for sustainable development and societal prosperity. Over four days, attendees will delve into topics like AI ethics and governance, capacity building, responsible innovation, and international policy, along with showcasing recent global AI initiatives and experiences through high-level sessions and workshops.
