Redmi K100 Pro Brings Flagship Power for Half a Flagship Price

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest Redmi K-series smartphones in China, the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max. These devices combine top-tier specifications, including high-performance chipsets, 185Hz displays, powerful batteries, and advanced camera systems, all at a fraction of the price of flagship phones. Though the international rollout is yet to be confirmed, both models are likely to enter the market under the Poco F lineup, potentially including Pakistan.

Design-wise, the Redmi K100 Pro boasts a 6.56-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, while the K100 Pro Max features a larger 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with an even higher resolution. Both phones have IP66, IP68, and IP69 protection ratings and a Bose-tuned rear subwoofer. The Redmi K100 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset, whereas the K100 Pro Max uses the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Both devices offer up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The camera systems of both phones are identical, featuring a 200MP primary sensor and a variety of lenses for advanced photography. Battery capacity is the primary distinction between the two models, with the K100 Pro Max boasting a slightly larger 9,070 mAh battery. Pricing starts at $548 for the Redmi K100 Pro and $622 for the Redmi K100 Pro Max.
