Reacher Season 4 Review

Season 4 of Reacher premiered on August 12, 2026, on Prime Video. The season adapts Lee Child's 13th Jack Reacher novel, Gone Tomorrow, which required several creative liberties due to the passage of time. The season takes place in Philadelphia, moving away from the novels' New York City setting and even incorporating elements from previous seasons.

Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson, is drawn into a conspiracy involving a shady government agency, hired mercenaries, foreign nationals, and a former special forces operator-turned-US congressman. The story follows Reacher as he tracks down a USB drive supposedly held by his ally Anna Merrick. New allies, including detective Tamara Green and her brother Jacob, aid Reacher in his quest.

While the cast is competent and the fight scenes are thrilling, the season's villains feel underdeveloped and rely on poor dialogue. Reacher's dialogue is often the show's highlight, with his quick-witted comments being the series' standout elements.
