Razer Updates Naga Line With V3 Pro Entry; Costs RM769

Four years have passed since Razer introduced a new entry into its Naga line of MMO-focused gaming mice. The Razer Naga V3 Pro now boasts all the classic features of its predecessors, along with several new advancements. Among these enhancements is the incorporation of optical switches on just the two primary buttons, while the rest of the buttons retain conventional mechanical switches.

One of the standout features of the Razer Naga V3 Pro is its versatile 12-button layout, which can be configured according to the user's needs. Gamers can choose between a full 12-button layout for MMOs, a six-button layout for MOBA games, or a more conventional two-button setup for shooters and other less complex titles. Notably, the two quick-access edge buttons on the left-clicker remain accessible regardless of the chosen side panel configuration.

The most intriguing addition to the Razer Naga V3 Pro is the ring-finger button. This button transforms the typically unused portion of the right flared segment into an additional button that can be pressed as needed. Additionally, there is a lock feature that prevents the use of this button, allowing it to serve as a conventional finger rest if desired. It should be noted, however, that this button functions more as a little-finger button than a ring-finger button, given its placement.

Another noteworthy upgrade in the Razer Naga V3 Pro is the HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2. Building upon the first-generation technology, this mouse now offers four scrolling modes: Standard Tactile with 24-step notched scrolling, Precision Tactile with 48 steps, Free-Spin mode, and Smart-Reel mode, which automatically switches between the previous three options.

This upgrade does mean that the mouse lacks an optical scroll wheel, which is somewhat disappointing. Nevertheless, the mouse does feature the fourth-generation optical switches from Razer.

In terms of battery life, the Razer Naga V3 Pro is on par with its predecessor. It offers an increased runtime of 155 hours in the 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed Wireless mode, while Bluetooth mode provides up to 280 hours of usage. The mouse also supports wireless charging via a separate puck accessory. The Razer Naga V3 Pro is priced at RM769 and is available through Razer's official online store and select retailers.

Additionally, a launch bundle is available on the official store, which allows customers to purchase two Naga V3 Pro mice and receive two limited edition Gigantus V2 mats for free.
