Raptors grouped with Magic, Bucks, Pistons and Nets in NBA Cup

The Toronto Raptors will kick off their 2026 NBA Cup schedule with a clash against the Orlando Magic. This matchup represents two group winners. The NBA Cup, an in-season tournament, does not count towards regular-season standings. The Raptors, who hosted the Magic for the fourth edition of the tournament on October 30, will next travel to Milwaukee on November 6 and Detroit on November 20 before hosting Brooklyn on November 27.

Last year, the Raptors achieved first-time knockout stage qualification after posting a perfect 4-0 record in their group, which included Cleveland, Atlanta, Indiana and Washington. The team subsequently lost to the eventual champion New York Knicks in the quarterfinals. New York subsequently defeated Orlando, who also posted a 4-0 record, in the semifinals before triumphing over San Antonio in the final.

The Knicks and Spurs faced each other again in the NBA Finals, with New York securing their first championship since 1973 in a five-game series.
