President Sheikh Mohamed tells of pride in UAE's young people

On International Youth Day, President Sheikh Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed his pride and confidence in the country's young people. He emphasized that young people are crucial to the nation's future, driving development through innovation and leadership. In a post on X, Sheikh Mohamed wrote, "By embracing innovation and leadership, young people are central to achieving a future in which opportunity can grow for all," emphasizing the UAE's commitment to empowering its youth.

Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, echoed the sentiment, stating that young people are the energy that built the country. "On International Youth Day, we renew our confidence in the most precious wealth and the greatest hope for our nation," he added on X. "Today, our youth are leading the greatest scientific, economic and technological projects.

Their energy is our primary driving force toward the top, and investing in and empowering them will remain a national priority and an ongoing approach to our work."

To mark the occasion, President Sheikh Mohamed made a surprise appearance at Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi, greeting shoppers alongside the managing director of Lulu Group. He also visited The Galleria Al Maryah Island just before a weekend visit to London, where he met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. These public appearances underscore the UAE's ongoing commitment to investing in its young people as a key element of its national priority and long-term strategy.
