'Nowhere to hide' for Australia's under-fire batters against Bangladesh

Former Australian Test opener Ed Cowan believes some of the team's batting lineup are under pressure to perform well in the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh. If their form doesn't improve, there's no place for them in the Australian Test team, according to Cowan on the ABC Cricket Podcast. The series begins tomorrow in Darwin, marking the start of a 12-month period with 21 Tests scheduled for the Australian team.

The bowling attack has been consistently strong, however, the batting lineup is a source of concern. Jake Weatherald, who opened against England in the recent Ashes series, has yet to score a Test century and faces the possibility of losing his spot. Marnus Labuschagne, who struggled to reach triple figures in his last 20 Tests, is looking to regain form in these crucial matches.

The youngest member of the recent Test team, Cameron Green, is also under scrutiny despite being a skilled player. Cowan suggests these two Tests might provide younger players an opportunity to regain form at a time when there is less domestic pressure.
