Nigeria Police declare two persons wanted over alleged murder in Lagos

The Nigeria Police in Lagos has issued a declaration seeking two individuals, Folawiyo Alagbado and Ajibola Obateru, for their alleged participation in the murder of a woman in the Ikoyi area. This announcement was made through separate notices posted on the police's X account on Wednesday. Alagbado and Obateru are believed to be from Ibadan, Oyo State, and are currently wanted by the police.

According to the police, the suspects conspired with others to assault the victim, resulting in her death. The police further allege that the suspects took the victim's body and personal belongings away to an undisclosed location. The incident reportedly took place in Lagos' Ikoyi area. "The suspects conspired to attack the victim, allegedly killed her and took away her body to an unknown location," the police stated in their announcement regarding Alagbado. A similar notice was issued for Obateru, detailing descriptions of both suspects.
