NEET-UG paper leak case probe: NTA subject expert gave son of coaching centre owner 132 questions

A subject matter expert in chemistry, Pralhad Vithalrao Kulkarni, allegedly provided 132 questions and answers to the 18-year-old son of a coaching centre owner in a "deluxe room" at Siddhivinayak Hospital in Latur, according to the CBI. The incident took place in April 2021, around a month before the NEET-UG exam, which was later cancelled.

The son attended the sessions multiple times, from April 15 to April 22, 2021. He claimed that the coaching centre owner, Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar, had sent him to meet Kulkarni, a NEET expert. The youth also identified Manoj Bhagwanrao Shirure, the hospital's caretaker, who arranged the appointments. The CBI has a chargesheet against 13 accused in the case, which was filed on July 28 before a Delhi fast-track court.

The youth stated that Motegaonkar did not trust the questions and did not memorize them, as he could have potentially scored full marks.
