Nashik: 2–3 Lakh Devotees Expected For Shravan Yatra; Police Issue Safety Guidelines For Trimbakeshwar Visit

Nashik Police Superintendent Dr. D. S. Swami has urged the millions of devotees who will participate in the Shravan Yatra at Trimbakeshwar, from August 13 to September 10, 2026, to adhere to police directives for their safety. An estimated 2 to 3 lakh people are anticipated to visit the temple and take part in the religious procession during the yatra.

In light of the security setup, devotees are strictly prohibited from bringing bags and luggage inside the temple grounds. To avoid carrying unnecessary items, it is advised that they only take essential belongings and refrain from bringing valuables.

If anyone spots an unattended or suspicious object, they must not handle it and should promptly notify the police. Similarly, if an individual exhibits unusual behavior or movement, they should report it to the authorities. Devotees are requested to utilize only designated parking areas for their vehicles and avoid believing or spreading rumors. Dr. Swami emphasized that any intentional rumor-spreading should be immediately reported to the police, and the administration should be assisted in maintaining security and order.
