MP’s Neemuch Hosts Exhibition On Partition, Displacement And Human Suffering

Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh recently hosted a photographic exhibition that explored the displacement and human suffering resulting from India's Partition. The event, inaugurated by Collector Himanshu Chandra, aimed to educate visitors about this painful historical period. Organized by the Prime Minister’s Excellence Swami Vivekananda Postgraduate College under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the exhibition featured photographs and descriptions detailing the circumstances surrounding Partition and the challenges faced by those who were displaced.

Collectors Chandra and the District Panchayat CEO Vaishnav viewed the materials, emphasizing the importance of such exhibitions in connecting younger generations to their country's history, while simultaneously fostering national unity, harmony, and patriotism. The event was attended by various guests including Dr Prashant Mishra, the college principal, Dr Arpan Ray, the exhibition coordinator, and several professors from the college.

Additionally, NCC officer Professor Ashok Lashkar, NSS officer Professor Rakesh Kaswa, and other college staff played a role in organizing the exhibition to raise awareness about this significant chapter in India's past.
