Kangana Ranaut slams Rahul Gandhi over remarks on Amit Shah: ‘He makes mockery of the country’

Kangana Ranaut strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks about Union home minister Amit Shah. Ranaut accused Gandhi of "mocking the country" and not being willing to listen to answers from Shah regarding questions raised by the MP. This came after Rahul stated he was not interested in hearing Shah's response following his absence from Parliament after a police crackdown on student protesters last month.

Ranaut expressed disbelief at Gandhi's comments, calling them absurd and comparing them to petty actions like growing potatoes on the Moon or selling jalebis in other countries. She accused Gandhi of mocking the people of India and demanded that he raise his questions in Parliament instead of seeking answers through the media. Ranaut also questioned Gandhi's approach to the student protests, suggesting he was not listening to the government's response.

She defended her earlier use of the term "Generation gutter" to describe some young protesters, explaining that her remarks were directed at the "filthy" language and behavior seen in videos from the protests. Ranaut praised Gen Z for their ambition, confidence, and talent, stating that they were moving beyond old stereotypes and taking the country forward.
