International Youth Day: You’ve been patriotic, resilient in face of challenges – APM hails Nigerian youths

The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has praised Nigerian youths for demonstrating resilience during the numerous challenges faced by the nation. In a statement marking International Youth Day, with the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” APM’s National Chairman, Dr Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, highlighted that while young people’s lives are influenced by diverse national and local realities, their aspirations remain similar.

The statement emphasized that Nigerian youth are patriotic and resilient, striving for dignity, opportunity, meaningful participation in the country's affairs, decent employment, quality education, and a sustainable future as leaders of tomorrow. APM recalled the significant role Nigerian youths played in achieving independence in 1960 and have been at the forefront of the country's socio-economic and political development, excelling in various fields such as sports, education, and technological innovation.

The party, which is youth-focused, stated it would form an inclusive government if elected in the 2027 presidential election. APM urged the nation to appreciate and recognize the Nigerian youth, creating an environment that will enable them to achieve greatness.
