I resigned from my office job to pursue music – Perez Musik

Ghanaian gospel musician Perez Musik has revealed that he quit his position at GHOne TV to focus on a career in music. Interviewed on Joy Learning TV and JoyNews' "The Career Trail," Perez explained that he joined GHOne TV after completing his education at NAFTI and completing his national service at the station, which was then owned by Chatterhouse. After working in production, editing, and directing for GHOne TV, Perez produced a Christian program called Shades, featuring gospel musicians.

While employed at GHOne TV, Perez dedicated himself to his music ambitions for a period. However, he reached a point where he felt the need to focus entirely on his own talent. Perez made the impulsive decision to resign from his job and dedicate himself fully to his music career. He attributed the decision to a feeling that he was neglecting his own creative abilities by helping another business grow.

The choice to resign was not easy, according to Perez. Influenced by a book that encouraged individuals to eliminate their safety nets when pursuing their ambitions, he recalled the challenging nature of the decision. Despite the difficulty, Perez did not regret leaving his office job. He expressed gratitude to Chatterhouse for the opportunities he received during his time there, which aided his music journey.

Perez emphasized that he has no regrets about leaving his office job but remains thankful for the support he received from Chatterhouse.
