Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Now Official; Retails From RM7,999

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold has been officially unveiled, joining the other devices in the Pixel 11 family. This device takes the place of last year's Pixel 10 Pro Fold and shares many of the same specifications. Under the hood, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is powered by Google's latest Tensor G6 SoC, which uses a 2nm process node. This chipset features a 7-core configuration, including a 1+4+2 setup.

The phone also comes with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. For the Malaysian market, both 256GB and 512GB variants will be available. The foldable device is equipped with a 4,750mAh battery that Google claims will provide over 24 hours of general usage. It supports 30W USB-C charging and wireless Qi 2.2 charging up to 25W.

The cover display of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold measures 6.5 inches and is a Super Actua OLED panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,342 pixels and a pixel density of 399 PPI. When unfolded, the main display measures 8 inches and is also an OLED panel with a resolution of 2,076 x 2,152 pixels and a pixel density of 372 PPI. Both displays offer a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, a variable refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR support, and 24-bit color.

The main camera is a triple-camera system consisting of a 48MP Wide, a 10.5MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. All three cameras support the Super Zoom function up to 30x. The selfie cameras on both the cover and main displays are 10MP sensors. Preorders for the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold begin today, with the device available at authorized resellers and retail outlets starting 20 August. The new phone starts at a price of RM7,999.
