Gold Rate Today, August 12: Check 18, 22 and 24 carat gold prices in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and other cities

Gold prices in India saw a slight increase on August 12, 2026, with 24 carat gold priced at Rs 15,486 per gram, up from Rs 15,382 on August 11. 22 carat gold rose to Rs 14,195 per gram, a gain of Rs 95 from the previous day, while 18 carat gold increased to Rs 11,614 per gram, marking a rise of Rs 77. These fluctuations occurred despite a 15% tax rate and ongoing unrest in the Middle East, which kept precious metal markets in a state of constant change.

The city-wise gold prices in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and other Indian cities were also provided, with rates ranging from Rs 11,614 to Rs 15,501 per gram for 24 carat gold, depending on the location.
