In the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer experienced a significant boost in its earnings due to a flourishing arms business. Revenue from the second quarter increased by ten percent year-over-year, reaching 11.34 billion Reais (1.92 billion Euros). The company's net profit jumped by 25 percent to 1.11 billion Reais.

Embraer doubled its forecast for free cash flow this year, with the adjusted operating revenue margin now expected to be between 10.0 and 10.6 percent, up from the previously anticipated 8.7 to 9.3 percent. The company produced 65 aircraft during the preceding quarter, a seven percent increase. The arms sector showed particularly strong growth, with a revenue increase of 22 percent, driven by the military transport aircraft KC-390 Millennium.
