Fahmi puji Bersatu bahas RCI TH, kecewa PAS, Wawasan tak hadir

On the previous day, PAS and Wawasan MPs from the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) and Wawasan Organisation (Wawasan) withdrew from the Dewan Rakyat and refused to continue debating the RCI Tabung Haji report after Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim failed to attend the special session. Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil praised the Bersatu MP for fulfilling their responsibility by attending and discussing the Suruhanjaya Siasatan Diraja (RCI) report on the Tabung Haji (TH) during the special session of the Dewan Rakyat the previous day.

He deemed their decision wise and appropriate, unlike some other opposition parties within Perikatan Nasional (PN), including PAS and Parti Wawasan. "At least the Bersatu MPs performed their duties yesterday during the special session of the Dewan Rakyat to discuss the RCI Tabung Haji report." He stated that it was a wise and appropriate decision, contrasting with the stance of other opposition parties within PN.
